The Lion and the Mouse
One day, a big Lion was sleeping in the forest.
A little Mouse ran over his paw.
The Lion woke up and caught the Mouse.
"I will eat you!” said the Lion.
“Please, don’t eat me!” said the Mouse.
“Maybe one day I can help you.”
The Lion laughed, “You are too small! But go.”
He let the Mouse run away.
Later, the Lion was caught in a net.
He could not escape.
The Mouse came and bit the ropes with his teeth.
The Lion was free!
“Thank you, little friend,” said the Lion.
“Now I see: even small friends can help big ones.”
Moral: Kindness is never wasted.
